Dr. Hassan Diab, 61 years, is the President of the Council of Ministers of Lebanon.

He holds a B.Sc. in Communications Engineering and is a registered Chartered Professional Engineer in the Engineering Council in the UK and a registered Chartered Professional Engineer in the National Professional Engineers Register (Australia).

He was appointed as Vice President for Regional External Programs (REP) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and is a Professor of Computer Engineering at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (AUB).
